Leadership Team Workshop
Having a Leadership Team is a great asset for any Taekwon-Do club. It gives you a structured way to encourage students with instructing potential, develop their confidence, and strengthen the quality and consistency of classes over time.
Why this matters: Ongoing instructor development does not happen by accident. A Leadership Team creates a clear pathway for up-and-coming instructors to learn the basics, assist in class, and grow into reliable leaders who reflect your club standards.
This Inside TKDC post highlights our Leadership Team Workshop video – a practical training session designed specifically for Leadership Team members who assist with classes.
The session is taught by one of our senior kids instructors, Miss Courtney Weir. It covers foundational coaching principles for new and developing assistants, along with what she has personally found to be effective when working with students.
In the sample video above, you will see a short clip from the workshop, giving you a feel for the training style and the kinds of coaching points your Leadership Team can benefit from.
- A clear development pathway for students with instructing potential
- More consistent class delivery through better-trained assistants
- Practical coaching insights from an experienced youth instructor
- A reusable framework you can apply in your own club
The full video is edited to 45 minutes and includes the complete workshop training. Premium Members can also download the Leadership Team Manual from the Resources section.
