Inside Interviews

One of the best things we have created inside TKDCoaching over the years is our interview library.
What started as a way to keep our members learning and connected during the Covid-19 period quickly became something bigger – a growing collection of conversations with instructors, Masters, and Grand Masters who have lived through decades of Taekwon-Do.

These are not scripted presentations. They are real discussions about training, teaching, leadership, standards, and the lessons that only come from long experience. Some of the interviews are with internationally recognised Technical Committee leaders, others are with outstanding coaches and pioneers closer to home – including my own instructor, Mr Norman Ng.

If you enjoy hearing how experienced people think, how they solve problems, and what they prioritise in their Taekwon-Do, this collection is for you.

Watch them in any order – or revisit them over time as your own perspective changes.

Premium Interviews

Tip: These interviews are excellent material for instructor development.
Consider watching one as a team, then discussing: What would we apply in our club this month?

Why these interviews matter

It is easy to get caught up chasing the next drill, the next training method, or the next trend.
These interviews bring things back to what matters – quality fundamentals, clear standards, smart coaching, and the mindset required to keep improving year after year.

If you are an instructor, there is also a second layer: you get to hear how highly experienced people communicate. Notice how they explain principles, how they prioritise, and how they deal with common challenges that every club faces.
