Timing of the intermediate position

A common fault with competitors and students is to form the intermediate position of a movement too soon. This means the movement has stopped rather than continuing in a flowing motion.

Mr Trotter illustrates how much time we have to do the intermediate position when stepping, and why we don’t need to rush. The end result is a fluid movement with more power.
