Description
No martial art has as many breaking techniques as ITF Taekwon-Do, and all Taekwon-Do students will eventually have to face and overcome the fear associated with it. Conditioning the hands and feet were always emphasised by the Founder General Choi Hong Hi, and it is critically important especially for those competing in destruction.
Although today’s methods of conditioning have changed, consistency is still the key. In this video World Champ Brendan Doogan takes you through a series of exercises and conditioning methods that he has found useful over the years. His key message is “don’t do anything stupid… I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work”.

I found it insightful and gave me a few different ideas on conditioning techniques that I have not done before to try.

In the video Mr. Doogan answered many questions about forging and practising breaking techniques I asked for in the expert group in facebook. Thank you for nearly instantly producing the video. Many of the hints are easy to use. Bit I missed some hints about practising with the polar boards… At least a great video for everyone who wants to improve techniques for power breaking or just forging your “weapons”.
