Learn the Korean Alphabet
King Sejong invented the Korean Alphabet in 1443 – an innovation that lead to an eventual 99% literacy in Korea.
King Sejong is honoured by General Choi by naming a pattern named after him – with 24 movements, representing the characters of the alphabet.
In this clip Irene Yu talks about this and how learning this alphabet can help with your pronunciation of Taekwon-Do terminology.
