Self-defence Seminar: A&B Response

The iTKD Self Defence Syllabus involves teaching students an A and a B Response to any attack. The A response is appropriate in situations where the treat is not serious, for example a child being grabbed at school. The B response is for life threatening situations where you must do what ever it takes to get to safety.

This concept of having an A&B Response caused much discussion when writing the self-defence handbook, and not all the authors agreed on the idea. In this clip you will hear Mr Thompson talks about the differences and appropriateness of each.

There are three free videos in this series: A & B Response | The Passive Stance Wrist Grabs

This free clip is part of a self-defence seminar for instructors by Mr Phil Thompson.
