Self-defence Seminar: A&B Response
The iTKD Self Defence Syllabus involves teaching students an A and a B Response to any attack. The A response is appropriate in situations where the treat is not serious, for example a child being grabbed at school. The B response is for life threatening situations where you must do what ever it takes to get to safety.
This concept of having an A&B Response caused much discussion when writing the self-defence handbook, and not all the authors agreed on the idea. In this clip you will hear Mr Thompson talks about the differences and appropriateness of each.
